Terms of Purchase
Terms of Purchase – Ryken
These Terms of Purchase apply to all orders made through Ryken’s online store. By
placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions.
1. General
Ryken operates as a sole proprietorship registered in Norway and complies with
Norwegian consumer protection and e-commerce laws.
2. Orders
An order becomes binding once you receive an order confirmation by email. This
confirmation includes information about the product(s), price, billing address, and
delivery address.
If you notice any errors, please contact us immediately at info@ryken.biz.
Ryken reserves the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors, out-of-stock items, or
technical issues.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices are listed in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT. Payment can be made
via Vipps, card, or invoice. Payments are processed securely through third-party
providers.
Ryken reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. Promotional discounts
and campaigns cannot be combined unless explicitly stated. Price differences will not
be refunded retroactively after purchase.
Ryken may cancel orders suspected of fraud or misuse. Orders may also be declined if
payment is not approved by the payment provider.
4. Delivery
Orders are normally processed and shipped within 3–7 business days after payment is
received. Deliveries are handled by Posten/Bring or another designated courier. Ryken is
not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.
If an item is out of stock, it will be sourced from the manufacturer. This may take
approximately 3–4 weeks.
Ryken currently ships worldwide. For international shipments, the customer is
responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees applied by the destination
country. Shipping times and availability may vary depending on the customer’s location.
5. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
As a private customer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with
Norwegian law. Returned items must be unused and in their original condition. Return
shipping costs are normally paid by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
How to use your right of withdrawal:
• Notify us by email at info@ryken.biz. Include your name, address, email, order
number, and the product(s) you wish to return.
• Products must be returned as soon as possible and within the 14-day deadline.
• You are responsible for return shipping, delivery, and the condition of the
products. Items must be well-packaged and in their original packaging.
• Ryken may deduct an amount from the refund if the product shows signs of use
or damage.
• If your order included free shipping, we may deduct the shipping cost (99 NOK)
from the refund.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
• Custom-made or personalized items
• Completed services you agreed to have delivered without withdrawal rights
Custom-made bags:
If you order a bag produced specifically according to your wishes, normal withdrawal
rules do not apply. For items ordered from our stock in Norway, the standard 14-day
right of withdrawal applies (must be agreed in advance).
6. Complaints
All products are inspected before shipping. If an item arrives damaged or defective, you
have the right to file a complaint under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act.
Complaints must be submitted within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered.
To file a complaint, email info@ryken.biz with your name, address, email, order
number, and a description of the issue. If we cannot correct the problem or supply a
similar product, we will refund the defective item in accordance with applicable law.
Ryken may reject a complaint if the product is found not to be defective. All complaints
are handled according to Norwegian law.
Ryken is not liable for indirect damages resulting from the product. We are not
responsible for delays or issues caused by circumstances beyond our control (Force
Majeure), such as labor disputes, fire, war, governmental measures, or supplier issues.
We also accept no responsibility for product changes made by suppliers or factors
outside our control.
We reserve the right to typographical errors in the online store and items being sold out.
Product images may vary in color due to screen settings, photography, and resolution.
We strive to display products as accurately as possible.
7. Privacy
Ryken handles personal data in accordance with our Privacy and Cookie Policy.
Information is only used to process orders and provide customer service.
8. Limitation of Liability
Ryken is not liable for indirect losses resulting from delays, errors, or technical
problems. The maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase amount for the product
concerned.
9. Disputes
Any disputes should first be attempted resolved amicably. If no agreement is reached,
the matter may be brought before the Norwegian Consumer Council or the ordinary
courts of Norway.
